My Approach

Over many years of psychotherapy practice I have come to appreciate the uniqueness of each person's struggles and believe that no one therapeutic approach can capture the complexity of one's experience. As a counseling psychologist, I take a holistic and integrative approach to therapy drawing from various therapy models to meet your individual needs. These include Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness.

In my practice I strive to meet you wherever you are in your life's journey. With kindness, compassion, and genuine curiosity, I seek to connect with the unique qualities and experiences that make you who you are, and to understand the obstacles that hold you back from becoming the person you aspire to be. Through this journey of self-awareness and connection, together, we identify specific ways in which you can break the patterns that cause you pain and suffering. Ultimately, I aim to help you feel empowered and motivated to pursue the life you want, in spite of any challenges that come your way.
